Classic Double Rooms

Devon Valley is home to arguably one of the most unique hotels in Stellenbosch with its historic main building constructed entirely from Canadian Cedarwood. Built in 1947, the main building is home to the hotel’s tastefully decorated Classic Double rooms offering an unforgettable winelands retreat and the opportunity to indulge in a tranquil hotel in valley experience.

Colonial charm and modern elegance are cleverly combined in the décor elements. In each hotel room the authenticity of the main building’s wooden structure is maintained and also celebrated through the rich textures and warm colour of the fabrics, contrasting with crisp white bed linen. The bathrooms are extremely spacious with large walk-in showers and free-standing Queen Anne baths. The Classic Double rooms are either North or South facing, most leading out to private courtyards or wooden decks where guests can enjoy breathtaking Valley or Vineyard views.
