    This website is run by Stellenbosch Valley Estates & Vineyards (Pty) Ltd t/a Devon Valley Hotel with Company based in South Africa and with company registration number 2007/022165/07 and directors being A. Louis and B. Louis.
  3. Use of Website
    The Hotel nor any of its agents or representatives shall be liable for any damage, loss or liability arising from the use or inability to use this website or the services or content provided from and through this website.This website is supplied on an “as is” basis and has not been compiled or supplied to meet the user’s individual requirements. It is the sole responsibility of the user to satisfy itself prior to entering into this agreement with the Hotel that the services available from and through this website will meet the user’s individual requirements and be compatible with the user’s hardware and/or software.Information, ideas and opinions expressed on this site should not be regarded as professional advice or the official opinion of the Hotel and users are encouraged to consult professional advice before taking any course of action related to information, ideas or opinions expressed on this website.When this site collects private information from users, such information shall not be disclosed to any third party unless agreed upon between the user and the Hotel.
  4. Customer Privacy Policy
    The Hotel shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).   5. Payment Options Accepted
    Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard and other cards added from time to time.
  6. Card Acquiring and Security
    Card transactions will be acquired for the Hotel via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
  7. Customer Details Separate from Card Details
    Customer details will be stored by the Hotel separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
  8. Merchant Outlet Country and Transaction Currency
    The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
  9. Responsibility
    The Hotel takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
  10. Late Cancellations
    The Hotel reserves the exclusive right to charge late cancellation penalties on any bookings made with the Hotel, if the guest cancels within 5 days (or such other timeline specified by the Hotel) of the confirmed arrival date.
  11. Country of Domicile
    This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and the Hotel chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature at the Hotel address specified in Clause 1 above.
  12. Variation
    The Hotel may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
