On Saturday 30th of April the Slow Market Stellenbosch, are hosting a herb and spice festival- their trader collective will be serving up their creative expressions of all things related to spices. From fresh micro-herbs such as rocket & basil, curries, chocolates to liqueurs and spiced wines, expect decadent slow food at its best, with a twist of spice. The talented Oddo Bam band will be entertaining visitors under a sea of Bedouin tents, nestled beneath the oak trees and the vines.
Local artisans, craftsmen and Proudly SA clothing and jewellery exponents will also be plying their wares in full force!
Founded in 2008, the Slow Market group is an authentic group of weekly Slow Food markets located at Oude Libertas estate in Stellenbosch. Slow Market features specialty food and wine, food artisans, local farmers, natural and organic merchants, clothing, jewelry, seasonal goods and designer ware.
